HOW TO HELP
SPREAD THE WORD
Tell friends and family about our programs, our horses and our needs. When you share our story, you give others an opportunity to give and support the healing and care of horses in need and promote our outreach teaching. The goal of our outreach is to educate horse owners so that neglect and abuse can become a distant memory for their horses and the active promotion of the well being of the horses becomes the priority.

.... to THIS
We always need help with the maintenance of the stable yard, daily mucking of pens and stalls, cleaning of equipment and the gentle grooming and connecting with these remarkable horses.

Help us continue to bring horses from THIS...
With each donation of money, we are able to buy hay, supplements, medicines and equipment (water tubs, buckets, lead ropes, leg wraps, etc.) for the horses in Sanctuary here. These include horses bound for slaughter, starved, unwanted and over-worked.
Your one time or on-going financial support assures that no dharma horse will ever face neglect or abuse again.
When you donate to DHARMAHORSE, you help horses like Wally (pictured below) who was going to be slaughtered; Vega who was to be killed on a Friday when Katharine ran to get him on the Wednesday before; Penny whose body has struggled all her life to overcome distorted legs and spine; Majic who, after years of service to a therapy program, was unwanted when the program moved to another state; Sage who could not stay sound and, while loved and cared for, was in need of a new home (he is now sound); Grits who was adored by his person but she could not take him with her across the country and dared not sell him to an unknown fate... the list of horses, past and present, rescued, healed and forever loved at DH is long.
